Hey all!

22ish hours ago, I wrote about my top 3 plugins I've made to date; if you haven't read it yet you can find it here.

Since writing the blog I've released a further 2 plugins! Which I'd like to share with the PlanetMinecraft community.

So in my first blog, I wrote about my SimplySocial, SimplyHelp, and SimplyStaff. This time around I'm going to discussing my SimplyShout, and SimplyMaintenance plugin.

One thing I'd like to point out, you may have noticed that they all begin with the word "Simple". When I was looking into plugin development I wanted to create some easy to use and easy to setup plugins that Server Owners can use on their servers to make managing their server easier.

So let's get started!

1) SimplyShout - an easy to use Announcement plugin which can be heavily modified.
Simply Shout is a very simple tool, which only does what's in the name. It automatically sends a broadcast (or "shout") out of a list controlled by a scheduled.

Features:
  • Sends scheduled broadcasts to all players
  • Easy to configure by 'config.yml'
  • Supports chat colours

Check it out here: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/simplyshout.52051/

2) SimplyMaintenance - Simple Maintenance plugin but with a more colourful feel.
If you're looking to run some maintenance on your server, but don't want players to think it's down for good this plugin suits you. When activated anybody without the permission node will be kicked with a custom kick message; as well when new players join they'll receive a simple screen letting them know you'll be back online shortly with your Twitter handle to stay up to date.

Features:

  • Custom kick messages
  • Easy to configure by 'config.yml'
  • Twitter integrated

Check it out here: https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/simplymaintenance.52032/

Well, that wraps it up.. that's 5 fantastic (in my mind) plugins, which will definitely help Server Owners. Whilst typing out this blog, I'm actually also typing up the next brief for 2 new plugins I'd like to get on with; so I'm going to leave it here and start coding.

Back to PMC, if anyone has any questions, need help with any plugins, or custom work - feel free to PM me.

By the way, if you like what you've read, feel free to leave a diamond; and subscribe to me!
