So as I was working on my new and super hip adventure map (coming soon…or not so soon) I realised that never made a review of 1.7…what are we on? 6? Anyway, the new one. So today I am going to attempt to tell you my thoughts on this new update without insulting the honour of our lord and saviour Notch…I mean Jeb.
When I First Opened the Game
I wish I would have taken a video of my reaction, because it was hilarious! I had not read anything about these new flowers and whatever the heck podzol is. I was show shocked. So obviously the big change in this update was the new blocks. I have to be honest, I’m not a fan. Podzol looks like a little kid made a mud pie and put different vegetables in the mud pie. It’s insanely unappealing, but maybe it’s supposed to be that way, I don’t know. Secondly, stained glass is not very useful. To me anyway. The only reason I ever use glass, is because I want windows to look out of that won’t have mobs coming into my house to kill me. I can’t see out my window very well if the glass is a colour like say…purple. Bleckendorf (what does that mean?)
As I Began To Play More
So apparently, when they added new types of fish. I have yet to see these. Perhaps it’s because I haven’t gone fishing yet, but that’s beside the point. Honestly I wish they would have added the function of actually seeing the fish when they are in the water. No one likes fishing it’s boring and tedious. If you could see the fish fishing would be insanely fun. Jeb, Dinnerbone, Grumm (if he’s still in), make it happen.
That is my small review of the new update. As you can see I’m not a huge fan, but I am. That last sentence didn’t make sense, but basically Minecraft’s quirks are what make this game enjoyable. If you haven’t already seen this update you’re a lazy bum who needs to play some Minecraft Jeez you should definitely check it out.
Also, do you think I should make this a series to do on Wednesdays? I could possibly find a different thing to review every week. I don't know, tell me your thoughts.
