Thank you so much for checking out this blog and i hope you love all my ideas =D. I would also like to apologize if i took any ideas already out there but its impossible for me to know every mod out there. But enjoy anyways Happy Reading!
MOBS:
1). Mobs can be tamed as pets!
You can tame mobs as your pets. For example Rotten flesh to zombies, Bones to skeletons, Gunpowder to creepers, and Spider eye to spiders. Just dont let them bite you xD. (*DETAILS* These mobs will act much a tamed wolf and only a certain amount of the item, 1-5, will tame it. If you fail to tame it the mob can continue to attack you until it is tamed, dead, or you have ran away.)
2). You can Craft Saddles to be able to ride mobs like spider jockeys did!

3). You can use sheers on mobs!
You can use them on skeletons for bones, zombies for rotten flesh, and on spiders for spider eye. *NOTE* They will can attack you while you are shearing them unless they are tamed. (Dont use it on Creepers!) (*DETAILS* The shearing process would be exactly like the sheep and a small chunk of the mob could be distorted so that a person cannot continuously shear wondering why theyre not getting any drops. Mobs will get hostile if sheared unless they are tamed, then they will take damage. This should allow more of the mob item than just killing it.)
4). You can Cage pets!
You can only use it on tame pets and they will be stored inside where you can transport them, store them in chests, or even release them whenever. (*DETAILS* This will act much like a mob cage and the mob wether it be animal pet or hostile mob will be stored inside. A right click to contain them and a right click to release them. The item's symbol could be a furnace minecart or iron bars.)
5). Mobs Can change looks in different biomes!
Depending on location such as desert, cave, or plains the mob's skin will change making it look different as if it blends with the environment. (Shouldn't be used for spiders) (*DETAILS* Pretty self explanitory. For the different biomes and places such as caves mobs will look different to make them seem more adapted to their enviroment.)
6). Mobs may run away!
When they get low health some mobs that are cowardly may turn around and run away from you. Much like you would do if you are running low on health. But make sure to get them before they escape! (*DETAILS* Only some mobs will run. Like a random number. They will continue to run until they reach an obstructed are and if they cannont escape they will stay there. When running they become like the zombie pigman, unknowing to obstacles such as holes. When they run they will drop their weapons and the spider and creeper shouldnt be able to run away. All nether mobs except from the pigman will not run away either.)
7). Steve is here!
Steves could act much like villagers building villages and houses of their own but can be befriended and act like tamed wolves would, such as their protection aspect, and would help you attack whatever you attack! They could also have different classes such as: Builder, Miner, Woodsman, Butcher, Farmer, Ect. They can be befriended with items such as ores (depending on their classes).
ITEMS:
1). Torches, glowstone, glowstone dust, and other items glow!
Besides just placing them on the ground you can hold torches, glowstone, glowstone dust, and other light sources in hand and they will light up that way as well. Good when your down to your last torch! (*DETAILS* This will allow you to glow up the cave without placing the item. It can also be crafted onto your item so that the tool glows. The glowing item will be displayed on the handle and light up so you do not have to place torches. Also the glow item will light up as well when thrown.)
2). You can actually sit on the furniture you create!
This can be used to slowly regenerate health or just sit on and wait for night so that you can go mob hunting or other nightly things. Basically the opposite of a beds resting capabilities!
3). Tool Sharpener!!!
It can be used like an anvil to repair but this will give your tool the basic enchantment. For example it can cost 8 xp levels to repair a sword and it will gain sharpness 1. But eventually the sharpener will wear down and break.
4). Golems,if tamed with ingots like other mobs above, will collect items!
This falls under mobs and items category so i just put it here. If you tame a golem and it kills mobs it will collect the items and you can right click the golem similar to a chest and remove the items it has collected. Good for mob loot when you don't want to fight!
5). Tool break damage!
If you use your tool until it breaks you usually just lose it. But with this if your tool breaks it can cause damage to you as well. When the tool such as a axe breaks or splinters it will cause anywhere from 1/2 to 2 hearts of damage to you.
6). Clothing / Weather!
You can use this to craft clothing to make your skin look better but it also has abilities. The weather can drop giving you messages such as extreme temperatures and in this case you can craft and create clothing to keep you warm or you can go around fire. The heat can also get extreme causing exahustion making your hunger go down a lot quicker. This will really improve the minecraft experience for everyone!
ABILITIES:
1). Thrown Weapons!
If you come down to a last resort and just need to finish that enemy off you can throw your weapons at them! They can be thrown but will not stick in the enemy and can be retrieved after it lands!
2). You can enter a Rage mode!
After you kill a certain amount of mobs in a row you can enter a rage mode where your speed increases as well as strength and regeneration. This will only last for 10-20 seconds but time can be added if you increase your combo by killing more mobs
3). Super Miner!
After you get a big enough mining combo, mine enough ores, you wil start super miner. This will allow you to mine a lot faster. It could be triggered by activating haste after a certain combo amount. This will be helpful to min continuously and the combo can be increased as well as haste time. This should last from 20 seconds to a minute.
GAME MODES:
1). You can be infected by zombies!!
If zombies attack you there is a chance (like cave spider's poison) you will get infected and if you dont treat it you will turn into a zombie! As a zombie you chase around steves and can infect or kill them to! This would make for a great gamemode. Should we name it... Zombie apocalypse? The cure to the infection could be like milk or some certain potion. Better stock up! *NOTE* Steves, if added, will be on your side and can help fight until you are transformed. See how many nights you can survive!
2). Creeper apocalypse!
This is a lot like the zombie apocolypse but you must survive a creeper invasion. They will constantly blow up and come in groups so no house is safe! This would be another great gamemode just when you want a challenge without multiplayer but how long can you survive? *NOTE* Just because steve and our minecraft characters dont enjoy being chased, that doesn't mean it wont be fun xD.
CLIENT ADDITIONS:
1). A sprint key!
Ok no picture but the point is, have you ever been on a server such as pvp, raiding, or even just survival and you double tap "w" to sprint and you get this kind of half sprint half walk or no sprint at all. This ultimately causes your death or serious damage. I know this constantly happens to me and others i know so i sugges a sprint key option to be added. It will clear up many running problems and make walking and running more distinguished!
2). Skin Changer!
Well some people in game will see others with skins that they like. Well i am suggesting a skin changer/ swaper. You can be able to see anothers skin and if you like it apply it straight from in-game. This could also work for just changing skins you have. There could be a interface where you can save skin urls and then click it to change. This is great for people who love changing their skins!

You can craft the saddle and use it on spiders to ride them around much like a pig. You could use spider eye on a rod to make them move where you please. (Must be tamed first to ride them). (*DETAILS* These will act just like the pigs. The crafting recipe will be a regular saddle with string on the sides. Example: D=saddle S=string B=Blank B S B
