Just started: Go get your gear from the barrel. Make sure you look at what you got before you equip it so that you know what slots they go in. Then mess around with the controls. (I will not say what button to press because I play console and other people play PC) brings up (at the bottom) a whole new menu of options. Normally buttons are 1 thing, and then they are another. Kinda hard to understand. Anyways blow through the enemies. Each class has a unique ability that other classes don’t have (fighters have shields, rogues have roll, extra) so get comfortable with it. After blowing through waves of easy bad guys you will get heal pots. Equip them to your tray. if you start to get really low use them. Your ally can’t hurt you. He knocks bad guys back, so make sure to plan for that. For the mini boss lower his hp down, then when the rider falls off jump him with specials. For the boss use your daily, and be as long range as possible. After that go find the crown of neverwinter. It will trigger a boss fight. This time try to avoid the charged attacks. It’s easy. They will say your “the hero of neverwinter” or something witch is kinda dumb but I don’t judge. Sargent Knox is where you should come back time to time.
Midish game routine:
1. Get quests from Knox
2. Complete all non main then all random people quests
3. Arrive at a new area and complete all the main quests there
4. Complete all the side quests there and use all instinigias on random loot bags
5. Repeat.
this should get you far. Here are some goals:
1. Learn to pray (or invoke) and stack up on blessings
2. Get a mount
3. Get a pet
4. Get 3 bags of extra inventory (the most important thing on this list)
5. Get some artifacts
6. Get 10 gold coins and 50k astenrail diamonds.
7. Start a campaign
8. Gain the most constitution you can (increases hp)
9. Complete multiple dungeons
10. Get used to the controls
