The title says it all. How do I make my server public? It's under private right now. Online-mode=true, white-list=false.... But no one can get on...? Is it because I'm using my network connection number as my IP address? Or do I have to use a website or something...?

hmmm well what you do in order to make it public, is to portforward your minecraft server. You can find tutorials on how to portforward your router for minecraft servers in youtube. Also try using one of those "what is my IP address?" websites to find out what ip address you need to use to put in your server properties notepad. Hope this helps : )

Okay I will have to try that. The router is connected to my father's computer and the server is on my brother's computer. We're all using the same network. Will this effect his computer in any way, because he has a lot of work on it and if it crashes he will literally disown me.

Use your brother's computer to portforward it. I don't think your router will crash for a simple portforward.

Can you show me a tutorial or something on how to port forward? I think I know what to do with the router but unfortunately like i said, my dad won't let me touch it.... So i don't think the server will be up for a few weeks....

You don't need to touch your router physically but you do have to access it with your bro's comp. Unfortunately, I can't post links at the comment section. Try to search up tutorials in youtube.
