A giant eagle that you can tame and ride! That would be fun!
I also think Herobrine should be added in his homeworld, the Nether. There is like one per world and an achievement should be ''Back From the Dead'', since Herobrine is dead, and when you'd find Him, you would get the story of Herobrine, kinda like of the poem when you kill the Enderdragon.

Mobs for water: whales,realfish,sharks

Mobs for air: birds, planes that fly of ever 1 time a day that drop supplys

Mobs for underground: moles that steal 1 thing out of your inv when u see it

Also i would like to see that since your on a island thats unknown mabbie some fake ships out at sea and old ruins from houses also if there was birds they would poop eggs out while flying

Make a new sea creature! Squids are all I see these days! Nothing new in the sea! Maybe a shark or a real fish instead of fish as just items! That'd be real Cool! Maybe add some birds! That would be cool!Maybe add bird nests to the jungle biome and make them have egg blocks when broken you get an egg or something! Maybe make a world of Herobrine O_O! That'd be cool! It would be the normal world only with Herobrine O_O in it! He would decide your fate there even! Either diamonds or death! Maybe an Ender guardian you find in the End not just boring old endermen! Ender guardians would have Diamond armor (with no actual protection just the look) and have 100 hearts and huge battle axes like a remake of the iron golem only agressive and more endermanly!
