Persona making is hard work, and if you don't have one yet and don't know where to start it can be ToUgH so here are some tips I collected from the deepest character creating part of my mind to give to you :D, Of course these are my stradiges and if they don't work out that's okay! Please no advice in the comments though.

Design and outfits
(mainly applies to humans, I haven't made a lot of furries in my day but there might be some useful tips in here somewhere)

1) Steal
Okay don't steal OUTRIGHT but you can always take inspiration, my new persona has slight inspiration from FuntimeWolfy112's persona but I didn't steal her charcter, taking little things like outfit designs, patterns and the such are always helpful in giving your character some *cue energized music* sTyLe


2) Go wild*
It took me a while to realize it but Personas are consisted of the things you love, it's always great to make it so that they arn't you because over-doing it could lead to you accidentally revealing who you are online, and this could be bad, not because revealing who you are is bad but if your not ready this could be a problem, I wasn't ready for ages, and sill arn't 100% ready, so when you start creating just do a bunch of random stuff you like on the charcter, these are great for first drafts, but making sure everything works together and it isn't a hot mess should also go underway

*Go wild - I've only used this on picrews (cuz I can't draw lol) but never on paper so you might have to experiment a bit if you plan on drawing your charcter

3) Pinterest and mood boards 
This is something I got from watching a YouTube about DnD (character development we aren't gonna go into the backstory today) and it's use pinterst and just browse it and click on stuff you like that you think could go into your character and their design, same thing with mood boards either online or offline just gather a bunch of colors and such you like and just put them on a thumbtack board, paint samples (like the little cards you can get at lowes or some other hardware store) are great for color palettes, also canva has color palette selection
