NIGHTMARE
Woken up by the sounds outside of my room within my house, sounds of wires, and gears though muffled I heard it louder and louder, it was close. I leaped out of bed dashing towards the door on the right of my small room while carrying my toy flashlight slowly placing my ear softly on the door I heard someone breathing heavily it wasn’t normal I held the door tight keeping it closed until the breathing stopped I opened it to see if anything was there, I opened my flashlight there in the distance of the long creepy hallway laid a robotic atrocity shaped like a bunny, but only for a second then it swiftly went behind the corner hiding from me. In fright, I shut the door and ran to my bed I placed my back on the footboard of the ramshackle bed crying.
A nightmare was behind everything it reminded me of something, something painful I heard clanking, and creaking behind me I crawled rapidly to the middle of the room activating my flashlight to light up my bed. 1... 2… 3… 3 small nightmarish teddy looking toys on my bed making noises I was scared to the bone I couldn’t move my mouth stuck in fright of my life 1 by 1 each went under the bed, once they were all gone I was able to move. I kept on wheezing, but the noises kept on going… now from the closet tears slowly fall out of my face. I rubbed them off with my soft gentle hand, crawled towards my closet activating the flashlight yet again there it stood with a face of a fox messed up with a hook, sharp teeth and a snake's tongue. It became a small plush toy in a flash, confused, I went into the closet, though nothing was there.
Back to my bed, nothing was there this time only a small plush toy of a bear with a top hat, I held the toy tight until another noise appeared from the left door, I put my ear on the door, nothing. I opened the door, yet again activating the flashlight only to see a monstrosity. Like a bear only worse, Yellow, Purple top hat, torn up like the others, he stared at me with his silver eyes. Memories flooding back, I’m Dead.
