Let's make an example, shall we?
Say you're on mc.hypixel.net (AWESOME server!) and you play Quakecraft. All of the players are normal, no VIPs or VIP+s, no HELPERs, no YTs, no MODs, and no ADMINs. When the game starts, you normally get Swiftneww I, or II, or III, or something like that, who KNOWS the secrets of hypixel? And you see someone zipping around with something that appears to be Swiftness X. You complain about someone hacking on hypixel.net, the server's website, but hypixel (or some other site moderator) replies to you that that person is using normal, Vanilla minecraft. How wrong can they be? But, you play another game with that same person, and they are using the normal level of swiftness.

You are now a victim of nodus.

Let me explain. Nodus is a client-side hack used for cheating in almost every way possible. It includes hacks for;

Combat:
Aimbot
Click Aimbot
Forcefield

Movement:
Autowalk
Autosprint
Spider
Fly
Derp
Jesus (Water)
etc.

World:
AutoEgg
AutoFish
XRay
ChestFinder
etc.

Building:
FastPlace
FastBreak
AutoMine
AutoPlace
etc.

I have nodus for my survival world, but I don't use it on servers. However, it IS useable on servers (unfortunately) and there are hackers everywhere.

People use nodus for:
Griefing
Trolling
Cheating in games (Like Quake)
