Hello, and welcome to my rant!
Like in my last blog, this is just my opinion. You can keep editing with this website if you want. I don't.
Just to set things straight first: Novaskin is an awesome website to create your skin, see other skins, make resource packs, and make overused edits. I'm focusing on the last one.
There's nothing really wrong with the backgrounds, they're high-quality wallpapers made with Cinema 4D, and they look awesome. It's just that being a blender editor I am, I have to compete with all the people who use this website to make edits.
Like I said, the wallpapers are awesome, it's just that these edits are EVERYWHERE.
And I hate it.
There are at least 15 accounts that I'm following on Instagram that have about a thousand followers, because the people who follow them have never heard of Novaskin.
Leave the editing to people who can actually edit, guys. Seriously.
What bugs me is that these take about 2 seconds to make, (you just have to put in the person's username) and they are much better than my edits. But not one of the nova edits I've seen has said, "Credit to the template maker!" And do you know why? Because then, people would ask, "What template?" And then everyone would know about Novaskin.
So basically, I just hate how the people who do next to no work to make 'edits' get more attention than those who actually make everything.
If you're a Blender or Cinema 4D editor, you know what I'm saying.
This is just a pet peeve of mine that keeps growing every time I see another Nova edit.
