On Notchtonians
The study of "Villagers"
By Proffesor J. Ender
CHAPTER 1
Notchtonians or "Villagers" as they are sometimes called, are mysterious and interesting beings.
They were only discovered lately, when Dr. F. Steve found one of their villages while researching ravines.
Although at first, the Notchtonians might seem boring and predictable, after 3 years of living amongst them, studying and researching their lives and culture like me, you realize they are very interesting and captivating, that under their boring and mundane daily routines hides a culture so advanced, that it wonders me how it was not discovered earlier.
The Notchtonians live in Villages scattered around the world, each Village has their own economy, tradition and history.
The inhabitants of these villages have different roles, just like us.
The Blacksmith prepares armor and weapons which are very rarely used and sometimes melts iron ore to make things such as iron bars which are used around the village.
The Librarian gather old books written in an unknown language, usually keeping them in the library which is the biggest building in the village.
The Butcher kills wild animals which venture into the village and gives the food to the other villagers. There is no currency used, and each Notchtonian does everything for the good of his village.
The Villagers have many different roles, which are described more in "The Economy of a Village" by Proffesor L. Cobble.
The style of their architecture varies slightly from village to village but they seem to have a likeness to wooden planks and cobblestone.
The leader of each Village usually lives in the biggest house or in larger villages he has his own cobblestone tower.
The leader has no role, but he is the oldest, and wisest of the Notchtonians and usually simply walks around the village, checking on all the villagers.
