Have you ever walked down the street, looked down and saw bird poop covering the sidewalks? That's not sanitary! That's not something I like to see, and I am pretty sure its not something you like to see! You see it in movies all the time, seagulls wheeling about, fighting for trash, and making a nuisance of themselves! It's the same with pigeons! If it weren't for the spikes on signs and streetlights, pigeons would sit on top of things, wait for you to drive by, and then release their waste on you! It may not have happened to you, but you probably know what I am talking about anyways, right?
There's a huge reason for this. You know all those predators and stuff that hunt the birds, or even the mice? Snakes, owls,
etc., etc.... Well, do you, on a daily basis, see snakes, or any other predator, like wolves, perhaps, in cities? Because I know I don't. The usual predators that hunt the birds, or the mice, aren't usually in the cities, and because of that the bird/mice population has EXPLODED. There's a movie where someone has to go in the sewers, and all the mice down there practically made a furry carpet. And its not just in the movies! After hurricane sandy hit N.Y. the mice from the sewers were flooded out. There was so many of them the extermination companies were working in overtime, even going as far as putting rat traps in fancy neighborhoods, in the form of plastic rocks.
