I think that PMC has turned into a truly wonderful and creative place. I mean, just look at all it has become: amazing blogs viewed and liked by lots of people, incredible creations being built, intriguing mods being coded, colorful and creative skins being submitted. Sure, there are those that are just spam posts, or people grabbing for diamonds, or unoriginal posts. But there is a lot of good content out there, too.
I recently noticed a builder, sp________ace, who was just recently really noticed. He was only a level 9 when I first saw his Coca-Cola can, and now is level 27. His builds are really good, and he seems to be an up-and-coming PMC member.
Another person, OliverFrenchie, was unknown for a long time until he posted his 'Indoor Furniture' tutorial followed by his 'Do what YOU enjoy doing!' blog. Now, I am sure most of you know of him. :)

I enjoy going through submissions of blogs and seeing the ideas people have on certain topics. Scrolling down to the comments, I see others have good tips and points for the writer of the blog. Some comment with long texts about their own idea(s), some of which may counter the writer's argument, some of which support and add to the writer's argument. This working together / sharing of ideas is critical to PMC, and has helped it become the creative community it is today.

Another aspect of PMC that I think is very important are the contests. These contests bring out the best in most people, driving them to create the best-of-the-best. As ZaphodX said, the Minetorials blog contest brought out truly great Minecraft tutorials. Each of the contests, if you wait until later, have quality content submitted to them by people ranging in talents and style.
Go take a look at the previous contests: most of them have different people placing first, second, and third each time. That is unlike the popular reel, where a lot of the same people appear regularly.

The chat room. That place where people can bounce ideas and advertise their creations. Greytopher analyzed the chat room earlier in his blog 'PMC Chatroom - A Tool for Success', where he described ways to become a known player on PMC.
Try it. Go into chat, and talk to people. You will become known over time. Share your creations, get criticized (the good kind of criticism), get loved, and more. :)

I hope you enjoyed my opposite-of-a-rant piece today! I wanted to write something positive about PMC and the creativity of its members. So many rants have been going around, I thought I'd take a different view today. ;)

I tryed to make like 3 now but they all suck :(
But one thing is whenever I see that old times new roman font it just freaks me out, the reason is because it's usually the font I see on "shady" sites.
