CONTESTS!
First of all, well done to Creative-Node for winning the Minecraft Survival Games: Arena Contest with their amazing project named "The Fallen Colossi" which has an amazing 3,000+ downloads and Well done to Knobleknives for winning the Artic Creatures Skin Contest with their project named "Das Schnee Teufelchen" which has over 24,000 views, that's the most since Apocalypse skin contest winners!
Anyway this months contests are Original Gods & Goddess skin contest as well as a massive one, The PMC server spawn contest which is already has 100's of entries with still 10 days remaining! These numbers are climbing constantly making it out to be one of the most popular contests on Planet Minecraft to date. The closing date for this massive contest is June 10th so make sure your projects finished and entered by that date!
Minecraft Update
1.6 IS HERE!
The new update is finally here and coming with it is a large varity of lovely new things for the 11 Million PC users, here is a list ;-
- Added Horses
- Added Donkeys, Mules
- Added Horse Armor
- Added Leads
- Added Carpets
- Added Hardened Clay, Stained Clay
- Added Block of Coal
- Added Name Tags (item)
- Added Hay Bales
- Texture packs are now o resource packso that also can hold sound etc
- Food meter is now drained when healed by full food meter
- Removed Herobrine
- Added Grum
Minecon 2013
MINECON 2013 LOCATION RELEASED!
Mojan's official YouTube channel released...an unusual video announcing the location of Minecon 2013. Its going to roll into Orlando, Florida on the 2nd and the 3rd of November this year but tickets are going on sale this month so go get em' !

This section is where Planet Minecraft Monthly picks out our stand out project and user( usually the builder of the project)
Next issue will include stand out Project, Skin,Texture pack, Server and User
This months winner is Carlooo, Carlooo was the winner of the To the Stars project contest not that long ago and has built 15 other amazing projects including this amazing 10 Million+ block war machine which is even fully furnished and just breathtaking so please take the time to check it out and even download it.

So the update was today guys and now we are stuck in that awkward point where the mods and texture pack or as they are now called resource packs(which sucks balls btw) aren't out so we are stuck with default un modded :(
