Hey guys, welcome to a new series of blogs that I will be doing once every week or so, in these blogs I will be talking about possible features that may come to Minecraft soon and I will do a judgment to see if it is likely or not.

Today I am going to talk about Cherry Blossom Trees. You see, there was a member of Mojang that was Japanese and he suggested Cherry Blossom Trees and even tweeted it out. Unfortunately he did not get his voice heard enough and the others thought it was a bit random to add a new type of tree.

However there are many mods out there that add Cherry Blossom Trees, some even created their own cherry blossom trees in vanilla Minecraft too. If they had added Cherry Blossom Trees then I think that building would be more interesting. It can also be useful in building better Oriental Gardens. The mods out there are quite good and are close to what Mojang might add in the future.

Mojang always surprises us with new stuff we probaly never thought of before, so in the end I think it is quite likely that they may add these trees soon.
