Hi,
i have been browsing then forums a lot recently,and i have seen many people saying 'hey,come to my server it's brilliant!' Dont write that in the forums,just upload it to the 'servers' Section!!!
i mean, i know there is a 'servers' section of the forums,but i don't think people should just go around saying that,for example,hey,i have a new server,blah blah blah.
and if you do want to advertise,do it in the chat lounge.

The servers tab is to advertise your server, not to post about it.
They just don't realize that posting "PLZ COME TO MI SERVERR!!!!111" isn't going to get many hits where "[1.2.3] DesuCraft [PVP, WHITELIST, BUKKIT, ANTIGRIEF]" will get more hits because it's more detailed.
I think it's irritating how everyone says what type of server they have (pvp/freebuild/etc) and nothing sets them apart
