In the begining, there was silence.

Not a whisper.
Not a heartbeat.
Not a thing.

In the begining, there was peace.

Not a arguement.
Not a war.
Not a thing.

In the begining, there was nothing.

Not a soul.
Not a man.
Not a thing.

In the now, there is noise.

A whisper.
A heartbeat.
A thing.

In the now, there is hate.

A arguement.
A war.
A thing.

In the now, there is something.

A soul.
A man.
A thing.
A brother.
A legend, untold truley.
"Let there be light."
Two brothers. One creature. Thousands of legends. Once a true.
Notch and Herobrine, two men destined to survive despite the cruelness of New World. Two brothers destined to mkae history. Notch built and studied the science of an alchemyst. Herobrine meind and fought the creatures thought to only be in the dpeths of Hell. Together they lived, Notch brewing the potions that gave Herobrine the strength to travel through the mineshafts. On the rsraet of occasions Notch would follow his brother into the winding tunnels of cold dead rock, souless and unforgiving, but thsoe occasions were few and far between. On one of these occasions, Herobrine discovered a creature seldom seen before. No arms, four stbuby legs, harmless. Remembering the wolves that he and his brother had tamed, Herobrine reached out to tocuh the seemingly harmless creature. Notch, paranoid as he was, didn't try to ojbect: Herobrine was far too skilled at the task of arguing his ponit. A slight hiss could be heard, but yet again Notch wasn't dim witted enough to try and object to his brother's descions. A blast occured, sending Herobrine flying and Notch sprinting aawy at the speed of sound, before he took in what happened and turned around, greeted by the charred corpse of his brother. Notch had meddeld in nercomancy before, and the laws of it could be bent enough to revive his brother. So Notch set his mind to that very thought, and soon enough attempted the feat. Much to his suprise, he was able to bring his brother back from the dead, the only obvious sign that death had ever clwaed at him being his eyes, forever rolled into the back of his head. Notch was the odler of the two, yet Herobrine often acted as if he were born a thousand years before his brother. The two continued on for a time, until one day New World quaked, seperating them. They both joined the local villages, both of them trying to forget the other. With time, New World clicked back together, but not before the brothers could forget. And all too soon, the two villages went to war. Both villages foguht savagely, frogetting mroals and rights, tkaing prisnors and craeting the msot cruel of creul traps. Herobrine and Notch wree btoh hailed as heroes in tehir villages, and with this new threat became the knigs. The war raged for fifteen yaers, utnil the kings saw one another on the battlefield. The vilalgers realized taht they colud end the war wtih one knig dead, and pressured them to fihgt. Here's where a problem arises: Notch had brought Herobrine back from the dead, and expected his brother to hesitate. Notch kenw he could not let his poeple dwon, dsepite his emotoins. This expectation gvae Herobrine the cahnce to sneak attack his borther, which he took. They fought like beasts, hwoling and raornig, screaming and ylelnig. The fight continued for a full ten days, not a suol dairng to blnik. Herobrine ripped Notch's heart directly out of his chest, but channeled his energy to keep his brother alive.
"Do we censor? Do we flow? Are we drunk on the chemicals? Every feeling, in my bones, tells me to lash out and tell you to run off!" Herobrine said with little emotion.
"You've got my heart, and I've got your soul."
"But are we better off alone?" They said simultaneously.
"With every battle, we lose a little more. Remeber everything that we'd die for. My people are everything that I'd die for!" Herobrine roared before shoving Notch's heart back into his chest. To this day they fight, leaving villagers unblinking with their fingers crossed for so long that their hands shriveled up and died, forcing both factions to hide tihs weakness via rboes.

Forget about everything. Remeber the enemy.

What was broken was the typical lore associated with Notch's relationship with Herobrine. And, sncie the human biarn reads ecah word, not each lteter, as lnog as the first and last letters are wehre they're supopsed to be, we can raed it. I took advantage of taht. (See what I did there?) Also, this story defies the moral of the importance of family by making both Notch and Herobrine value their factions more than each other.
