So it's almost Christmas and I thought I'd do a Christmas special for my blogs. I've got a lot of views from my blogs so thanks guys. I was also away from PMC for a couple days but I'm back and doing this blog. Many people say a Santa in Christmas time would be stupid and make the game stupid. Others think differently, like me I personally think that Santa would be amazing.
On the month of Christmas IRL, on minecraft a random occurrence of presents in your house pop up. You don't know why this happened but you here a sound. "Ho Ho Ho!", you hear. You can't believe it, Santa came and brought you prezzies. You try open it but you can't. A message pop's up saying you must wait until Christmas day to open these.
Days go by and it's Christmas! You run to your Christmas tree and unlock your presents. [Chest in the shape of a present] You open it and what does it turn out to be... A diamond sword, OMG OMG OMG! Santa gave you a diamond sword. You are so happy you run outside to slay some mobs with your new sword but get overwhelmed and die. Lovely ending.
This is a little story to tell you what would happen in game. Here are some things that would need to be added to the game for this to be cool.
Christmas Tree
If a Christmas tree was added to the game, the presents would be around it when you open them. It would be decorated by balls which could also be added to the game [Down below]. This could be crafted using ferns and balls. 3 ferns at the bottom, 1 in the middle of the 2nd row, and a nether star on top. The balls in the middle row on both the outsides.
Balls [Tree Decorations]
The balls would be awesome. You could decorate any tree and hang them up. They can be used to make the full Christmas tree. They can be crafted using iron in the shape of a diamond, with glowstone dust in the middle. This would craft 4 balls.
Christmas Lights
Like the balls they could be put on any tree except the Christmas tree. You could also hang them on all the walls of the house to give it that Christmasy feeling. They could be crafted with glass in a diamond shape, surrounding a single glowstone dust. This would craft 4 lights.
Reindeer
New mob that could be added to the game. If you find a reindeer, they are friendly and don't attack, but like wolves when a reindeer is hit it charges at you at double your speed, very hard to escape. You can also put saddles on reindeer but unlike horses, you can put it on straight away. If by the unlikely chance you kill a reindeer, it will drop reindeer horns and horse meat which can be cooked in a furnace. Reindeer horns can be use for potions which make you fly for a short amount of time, pretty awesome.
The Amazing SANTA!
Now the best bit of the idea, Santa. Santa would be very rare to spot. If you spot him you would probably see him flying his sleigh in the night sky. You could shoot him down using your arrow and he will never attack you back. If you kill Santa he drops a santa hat [Small addition to the game, no need for big mention]. If you wear santa's hat it gives you no protection but enables you to fly. He would also give a tonne of xp which would be great.

anyway when i opened my minecraft acc the played for a couple of
Hours then i made a chest.. i realized that the chest has the skin of a Gift Box!
i was not using any texture packs that then and that was During the start of dec. until Christmas!
what i am trying to say is that what if Minecraft, Like the real world had Holidays or Something ??
I'm not sure about the flying thing... not a flying ability like in creative but more like the jetpack in FTB maybe. With the restriction of a few second of flight, then a cooldown, so you can't just stay in the air for 5 minutes non stop...
