It's pretty obvious by now. So many wonderful skinners have left Pmc. It upsets all of us but eventually we'll all leave. The only uncertainty about this fact is when. When will we all vanish from this website? Minecraft has been going for years now. So many skins have been made. New shading styles are being invented frequently. But it is nearing the end I think. Ideas are running out. There's only so much you can do with a small pixelated canvas. And those who have been on Pmc for a long time will understand. Skins aren't being posted as often now.

Everyone's running out of ideas. Wolf tails, hoodies, elf ears, rainbow hair, caps. They've all been done. As a community we've almost beaten the game. Some people seem to have endless ideas but how long will it last? With all these amazing skinners gone, the community is slowly dying. And it's been dying for a while now.

These are some of the reasons I haven't posted anything in the last two weeks. My ideas aren't running out exactly, but skinning just isn't fun anymore. I used to post skins because I loved the fact that people would choose to wear a skin, made by me. When I first started it amazed me. I love making skins for people and seeing them happy. But the novelty of it all is going away. I feel like it's my duty. It stresses me out. I used to try and upload at least once every three days. But I can't. Sometimes it can be fun. Sometimes it's boring. It used to be so relaxing for me. Some skinners can make skins like a factory. Churning them out so often it becomes spam. Do they spend time on them? Do they honestly love skinning? Do they do it because they love to make people happy?

please keep in mind that this doesn't have to apply to just skinning. How many times have you seen a medieval house in minecraft?
it isn't bad to base your creations off other things. But recently, the skins I've seen are so alike. Not many are unique.

Minecraft isn't a job, it isn't a duty, it is not somthing to make money off. It is a game. The creators of minecraft made it to make people happy. They made money in the process but they had an original idea and it turned into what we know now. I don't want minecraft or it's amazing community to die. So next time you make somthing on/for minecraft just think, "How can I make this unique? How can I make this mine!" 


I know I'm unknown to most people here on Pmc and not many people will read this but I'm grateful to those who do. I would love to hear feedback from you and your opinions on this. Thank you so much for taking your time to read.
