Tip One!
Make your server a Warrior cats server. Seriously. My server usually has 4-12 players without even bumping the thing! Don't read Warriors? Well phoey. Don't listen to this then.

Tip Two!
Advertise on Pmc. Be sure to bump ONLY at 2-6. Although that might not be true anymore with school starting back up again in stuff..... And have a attractive banner! (animated if you can figure that out. PMC is being buggy for me, so I'm stuck with a still. *sigh*)

Tip Three!
Be a good owner now! < 3 Fill the chat with hearts I was being scarcastic about the hart thing. :P anyway, you should show you care about your players tho! Like, Randomly chatting with them, and xDing whenever they say something funny, NEVER be mean, don't be too serious, Try and soothes out arguements sternly, but not TOO stern! and ALWAYS say "WB!" when they come on and add a ":D" occasinally if you want. (I have gotten use to people always saying "WB" on my server and find it rude and unwelcomeing if other people on other servers don't say "Wb")

Tip Four!
Be on AMAP (as much as possible) No-one likes the server if the owner is inactive..... and who knows what would happen if you never came on & left the server alone! People could realise your never comeing back and just.... well become power hungry!

Tip Five
Don't talk about your life on other servers..... I learned this the hard way. Me & a few other ppl on my server became staff on Catcraft. One person was talking about it and BOOM! All of a sudden one of my best staff got mad at us.... She still is actually..... (IM SORRY MYSTERYKITTEN!)

Tip Six!
Install plugins to keep people occupied incase they get bored. Bored Players = No Players
