As you all may well know, I get my inspiration from the games I play.

You also may have noticed I have not posted in about a month; There is a reason for that.

As of the weekend after I posted the new Steve Rising and DO NOT READ THIS series, skyrim refused to work. Something had happened and now I cannot get steam working.

Skyrim was a very fun game, and so I would not play games for weeks after that.

Then, 1.4.2 came out.

I tried to play, but the update would not load.

The farthest it got in loading was 77%, after at least 40 tries.

I went on youtube and found out this was a unique bug, and that it had not happened in 1.4.2 yet, only 1.8 and 1.3.5.

There were many strange solutions: delete minecraft, delete AVG (Which was probably posted by a hacker), log out and then try to open minecraft when you are logged out, and other strange methods.

The only foolproof method could only be used offline, not online.

I play online.

I emailed Jeb, which I knew wouldn't work, and got no answer, asked a friend and got the offline answer, and even tried to spam update minecraft; No method worked at all.

I have to find a way to fix this, so I might not post anything in a while...

If you have a safe online method that might work, feel free to tell me in the comment section.


FIX: If you play online, and you have it downloaded on another computer, then that might be the problem You may have to delete minecraft on the other computer.

2ND FIX: If you have minecraft online the problem also might be fixable by downloading minecraft, updating it if there's an update, and then deleting it.
