Speed art: The Atmosphere of Minecraft
DOWNLOAD WALLPAPER (5760x3240):
http://www.mediafire.com/view/?kg823t1a2haddrw
- This wallpaper is in a 16:1 aspect and should fit all modern monitors. Feel free to use this in anyway you'd like, but if you want to re-publish it, I would really appreciate some credits for my work.
I've never made a speed art in Photoshop before, and this isn't really my type of field either, but seeing that I have started to enjoying Photoshop more and more lately, I just felt like making this. Maybe there will be more in the nearest future...
This took nearly 3 hours to make in real-time.
My inspiration is the calm atmosphere you experience in Minecraft. Especially when you play for your first time, alone. The easy music, the big, open world and your full freedom. All makes me feel a great calmness, especially when the sun goes down.
The negative about this wallpaper is that Steve looks a bit weird. I made him simply too thick (sorry Steve). I also should have added some tall grass and a tree. Then maybe some hills further away, covered by the clouds.
Anyway, I hope you like this. Have a great day and a great life! :D
