Everyone knew that half of the forest was enchanted.

The fairies fluttered around, leaving a trail of golden dust behind them. The mushrooms would talk to you and say nice compliments about you, even when you bounced on their head. Elves would live in tiny treehouses. The trees had faces that were old and gnarled but kindly-looking. Hedgehogs, foxes, deer and every other forest animal were shy but loving and caring. The enchanted forest had a dragon, and it was the Protector. This dragon flew over the top of the



But everyone also knew that the other half was haunted.
It looked harmless from the outside, but it was bad. Evil spirits of evil wizards and witches roamed the forest, in search of people to haunt. Evil blackened trees would lash their branches out at unsuspecting people in the forest, like the Whomping Willow in Harry Potter. The flowers were withered and poisonous. And there were no passive mobs there.
Every mob was hostile.

One person didn’t believe that there was a half of the forest that was evil. And their name was LittleDino22.
They were a brave wizard, bold, fearless and strong. They were also resourceful, clever and very talented, good at making every potion imaginable. Swiftness, healing, regeneration, slow falling, night vision, you name it, they could make it.
But they liked to live dangerously.

They were travelling along the stream running through the middle (the one separating the good side from the bad side) until they came to a bridge made out of spruce and oak. It was ruined: a creeper had blown it up at some point. All the remaining wood was either rotten or had nails sticking up out of it.

LittleDino22 tried to walk on it. But they stepped on a nail and… You know how that hurts.


They clutched their Netherite boot in pain and plunged in the river.
”OW OW OW!” They screamed, their foot throbbing.

They tried to walk past it. But there was obviously some sort of force field around the edge of the forest. They got pushed back from the forest and into the river again. They were getting very annoyed but…


“Hey, I’ve just had an idea! I could just use my broomstick to get above the forest and go in that way.” They said to themselves.
LittleDino22 jumped on their broomstick and steered it above the forest slowly. He looked down and descended.



They landed in the enchanted forest next to an old Wizard’s tower but now it had vines and moss growing on it everywhere. It looked like something or someone still lived there now.
”Hello?” called LittleDino22.
All they could hear was bird song.



Suddenly something heavy snapped a twig, and they turned around…
