As if Gangam Style changed PMC by skinning tributes, Steampunk has got a boost lately in terms of new projects and skins. How did this occur? Well here are some of my theories to this boost:

1. Dishonored - The game that, in my opinion, gave steampunk a new dimension. Now its not just completing clockwork puzzles or fighting pirates in an airship but getting revenge, assassin style! Why did I think of this? Because lately I am seeing skins based on Corvo or other characters from the game (most of those skins are acutally based on Corvo). Since Dishonored is labeled as steampunk, its one of those factors that boosted the production of skins. What about projects? So far only one build is based on Dishonored, sorry builders!

2. Clockwork Block Society - Recently a new PMC group has spawned by the name of Clockwork Block. This new group is seeking new members to join this promising group, either skinners or builders! To show that you are submitting a submission, you need to add two words "clockwork app" and post it onto its offical blog. People made their applications hoping to join this group. That's the other reason of the boost. Also this is why I put up the clockwork background!

3. My skinning contest - I am currently hosting a steampunk contest that involves making named skins along with a steampunk contest. The theme is steampunk!
