Have you ever wondered where snow golems came from, why Iron Golems stand guard at present-day villages, why
zombies lurk in caves, waiting for the time to strike again, why Blazes endlessly wander the nether, killing all
in their path?
Then this is the series for you.
There was once a huge kingdom that spread across the land, snow golems and villagers helping each other and
happily going about their daily business, nowhere was there pollution, there was never fighting...
But nothing lasts forever.
A dark force came from the deepest depths of a mine, in the form of these strange creatures, the result of lava and water colliding - Blazes.
These blazes were immune to fire, but had a weakness to water.
They shot fireballs bigger than a fist... nothing stood in their path.
The snow golems put up a good fight, starting a long and hard war that
seemed endless. The snow golems retreated.
They had lost.
Hope seemed so dim for the villagers...the blazes used them as slaves for many years.
Hope got dimmer and dimmer.
Snow golems seemed to literally disappear off the face of the earth.
Hope disappeared too.
But not all. A large amount of snow golems were living in the desert, their size growing bigger and bigger.
Then, the golems launched attacks on all sides of the kingdom. The blazes loaded the villagers onto a huge boat and crossed the ocean to find an island fortress, a huge sprawling behemoth with almost unbreakable defenses.
The snow golems were determined to destroy the blazes at all cost.
The blazes prepared for battle.
Huge bombs rained all around the snow golems boat, but none of them hit.
The golems charged into battle, killing many of the blazes.
The villagers were released but all snow golems were killed.
Except for three.
The blazes all crowded around the cages golems, the leader and his two advisors,
laughing at them. The lead blaze stepped forward and spat at their feet, then asked,
"Will you join us? We admire your skills in battle. You could lead our army."
"Never! I would rather die than join you!"
"Very well. Drop the water!"
The executioner reached for the lever that would drop water and kill the last golems, but they were all stopped by a flash of lightning and a rumbling voice,
"You have been cruel, enslaving those less fortunate than you, killing in cold blood, just for your hopeless dreams and fancies. I have given you many, many chances. You do not use any of them to help others. Instead you have spread sorrow and pain. I now have to banish you to a hell of my own creation - the nether."
The blazes gasped as a huge cloud rolled overhead, swirling like a tornado around the island.
Rain pounded down, pelting and killing the blazes. The blazes turned into clouds of smoke which floated up into
the sky. The island shook and sank into the ground. The golems watched on helplessly as the ground shifted and fell down towards their fortress, sinking straight through the earth.
The villagers screamed and ran, but the rock stopped just overhead and solidified, locking the villagers and golems in the ground.
The golems and villagers worked together, mining up and around, soon reaching the surface.
The golems and the villagers together traveled the lands, looking for a place to settle down. Soon they stopped in a desert and lived there for a long time - and like all things living, the golems evolved. They could withstand water, fire and many strong attacks.
They became known as iron golems.
They soon became known across the land for their friendly attitude.
