The Day He Was Born
The day Steve was born was a stormy day with lightning striking nearby. Steve was born in the empire of Mine, a glorius realm that thrived off the resources mined from the ground. That was also the day the Mine had lost an important battle angaist the only other empire known in the world, Craft. The parents were joyeuse though since as of the time their child was born they had yet to hear of the devastating loss. They dressed him in the classic apparel of the Mine people, a blue shirt and a pair of jeans. They celebrated having cake, pumpkin pie, and cookies. All of the neighbors came to celebrate with them. They brought gifts of diamonds, gold, and emeralds to give to the family. It was during this party that the messengers came. They told the joyful group about the loss against Craft and how the future looked grim. They informed them that the leader, Notch, had ordered an evacuation to the underground, an area that connected all of Mine and was where many public events took place. Soon after the messengers left the guests went home to start packing for the move. Steve's father was trying to comfort his mother and stop her tears. After a while his mother had calmed down and she picked Steve up. His father had already packed all of their things and exitted the house. Steve's mother turned and blew a kiss to the house murmuring, "I hope one day soon we might be able to come back and grow as a family with a normal life." As they walked to the entrance to the Underground, Steve's father walked over and picked a beautiful poppy and gave it to his wife. "We have no need of a house as long as we are together," he whispered to her."
Steve's Childhood
Steve had a wonderful childhood despite having never gotten to see sunlight again. At the age of three his parents had another child giving Steve a brother. The brother was named George and never really liked Steve, He always cried when Steve was around and threw up on him when Steve held him. As of this point in time Craft was still winning the war, but the scientists of Mine were busying themselves inventing new technology to fight off the opposing empire. They had developed a way of instananeously teleporting people from one place to another. They called these devices Spawners. They also were working on a serum to turn their soldiers into super soldiers in hope of winning the war. Steve's father was on of the scientist developing the serum. It was going well in the empire of Mine and things were looking up. People were beginning to believe that they might be allowed to go above ground. Some even began going above ground themselves, though they were never seen again as they were abducted by Craft and used for their own super soldier experiments. One day Steve challenged George to go above ground. Steve was 13 at the time while George was 10. George, not wanting to be called a coward, accepted the challenge and went above ground. He then looked back at Steve and called out to him, "Are you going to come up here as well? Or maybe you just aren't as brave as I am!" Steve, who was feeling the same as George when he was issued the challenge, went up after his brother. He was nearly blinded by the harsh light. As his eyes slowly adjusted he looked around, the world above ground was beautiful. All the old buildings were overgrown with vines and massive trees grew all over the place. In the distance a majestic mountain could be seen. "What is that?" George exclaimed, pointing at pale yellow structure in the distance. They decided to check it out. As they reached the desert, for as you may have guessed the structure was a desert temple, they were suprised to find that the stuff they were standing on somewhat formed to their feet as they stepped on it. Not only that, but it was also quite warm. They were sweating by the time they had reached the temple. Steve shoved his brother into the temple, "What's in there?" he asked. George after looking around reported, "I cannot find anything in here, it is all open space." Steve came in figuring his brother was messing with him. He found nothing just like his brother though. A loud, grumbling sound came from outside. As the brothers rushed to check out what the sound was they were grabbed by two tall, slender men dressed in dark purple. "Hey boss we found two here!" the first one shouted. Another man came over. This one was skinnier than the others. He had blond hair and blue eyes. "Well, well, well. Looks like we have another two for the experiments. And healthy young boys as well! I have a new serum I have been meaning to test, but I feel it would be safer to test here rather than back at the lab. The man disappeared and shortly after came back with a syringe. He grabbed George's arm and George began to fight back. "Control him!" the man shouted at the one holding George. As the burly man tightened his grip and stopped George from struggling, the man injected the serum into George's arm. The tall man let go of George and he fell to the gorund in pain. He began to spaz out on the ground only to regain control of himself moments later. Slowly he stood up, a white glow coming from his eyes. The leader told George, "Kill your brother and we will give a nice home," he then turned and spoke to the man holding Steve, "Let him go. we want no more casualties than required." As the man let go of Steve, George charged at him. When they collided Steve fell to the ground with George on top of him. Seething George said, "I have never liked you, and now I have my chance to destroy you!" He swung at Steve, but he managed to roll out from under George in time. He got up and began to run for the entrance to the under ground. George slowly got up and looked in Steve's direction. He then did something amazing, he teleported right behind Steve and grabbed his shirt. Steve, struggling to get away. Slipped his shirt off and got to the underground and shut the doors. The leader grinned, "Project Herobrine is looking to be quite the success, and with a little training he may be just what we needed," wathcing George pound the doors with fire balls. He turned to the slender tall men and told them, "Detain him."
When Steve came into the house he slammed the door shut; he was breathing hard. His mother asked, "Where is George?" When Steve told his mother what happened she sat down on the couch with her head in her hands muttering to herself.
