Hello once again everybody! I am back with Part 4 of my story, sorry that this is being posted late as I had stuff to do with, you don't care about this stuff! Who am I kidding!!! On to the story!
Steve's Life - Part 4
I held the 4 planks in my hand and decided, why not take it one step further. I put the 4 planks in the 2x2 Crafting Square, I had decided to call it. I glanced over to the output box, nothing. I picked up the four planks again and put 1 into all boxes of the Crafting Square. An item appeared in the output box, I squinted at the small white text below it, "Crafting Table 1". I took the item from the box, closed my backpack and put it back on, laying it down didn't feel right to me. I decided to place the small block on the ground. It grew as it touched the floor to be the size of the other blocks around it. {imgur.com/3XKqJHL,1hCQF9D,tPCVlQH}. I took a closer look at the table, the table was a larger scale of my Crafting Square. This table also showed me what was in my bag, I didn't have to reach to my back to grab the items. I simply had to reach to the bottom of the table to grab my dirt.
I went back over to my tree and noticed something I hadn't noticed before. The wood and leaves, were simply sitting there not being affected by gravity, just floating with no support to the ground. {imgur.com/3XKqJHL,1hCQF9D,tPCVlQH#1}. Just like normal, I decided that it must be normal. I punched the tree blocks again, waiting for the cracks to break the block, after I had chopped down the tree I walked back to my crafting table.
I looked in the sky to tell the time, it was around noon, I knew I had to make shelter soon. Otherwise the elements would take my life. I sighed and looked back at my crafting table, I put the logs into the now 3x3 square and took out the planks. I had gotten 12 planks from the box this time. As I was thinking of ways to use my planks, I looked back up at my tree, the leaves were now gone. I figured they must have blown away in the wind, though I felt no breeze. I walked back to my tree, there was a few items on the floor, I picked them up and looked at their Label. "Oak Sapling 2"
I placed the saplings into the ground, and waited for them to get bigger like the other blocks. I decided that maybe some blocks took some time to get bigger. I went back to my crafting bench and thought of an idea. I thought that I could break blocks faster than by simply punching them. Tools. I knew that tools were something that was going to be essential. I had to make them, and fast. I took my planks and knew sticks would be a thing I would need for a handle. I took my planks and put one to the side of the other. Nothing appeared in the output box. I put the 10 planks I still had in my hand into the boxes at the bottom of the table. I took the planks out of the 3x3 box and tried again. I put the planks on top of one another in a straight up a down line of planks. I looked over at my output box and saw in the label below "Sticks 4".
I took my sticks and aligned them into a way for me to make a handle, 1 stick at the bottom middle square, the next stick at the very middle square. I put the other 2 sticks into my bag, I took the 10 planks out of the bag and aligned them across the top. I looked at the output box and saw "Wooden Pickaxe". I quickly grabbed the pickaxe then decided to try to mine some things, I looked around me for a place to mine. I saw a small entrance near my tree saplings {imgur.com/3XKqJHL,1hCQF9D,tPCVlQH#2} I walked over to it and mined a block of stone near the entrance, I took my bag off and looked inside, "Cobblestone 1" is what the block label said near the bottom of my bag. I put the backpack back on my back and mined a few more blocks of cobblestone.
I looked into my bag again, "Cobblestone 8" I closed the bag and put it back on. As I walked out of the small mining entrance I noticed that a tree had grown! I ran to my crafting bench and tried to make an axe. I took the rest of my sticks and put the sticks in the same way as I made my pickaxe, then took my cobblestone, I put one cobble stone in the top middle square, 1 in the top right, but then I saw an item in my output box. I read the label "Stone Hoe". There was no number next to it, odd.
That wasn't what I was looking for so I put another cobble in the middle right block, a different item replaced the one in the output box, "Stone Axe" still no number next to it. I grabbed it and went to the tree that grew I chopped it down and remembered that the time was growing short of daylight. I looked in the sky I saw no sun, but a moon was there, and that's when a creature popped up in front of me.
