Is the Overworld too boring for you? Are you sick of killing pigs, harvesting wheat, and crafting tools that will be broken in the future anyway? Well, try surviving in the Nether, where pigs wield swords and stand up to fight back. But if you think that is easy, it's not. So here's how to survive and live in the Nether like how you live in the Overworld.

The first problem is food. Food is hard to get in the Nether since you can't bring in water and the other way of getting it is by killing zombie pigmen. All you have to bring before entering the Nether for your food problem are carrots, hoe, pickaxe, cobblestone/wood, dirt, bone meal, and a little amount of food for a jumpstart. Torches are also optional only if you spawned in a dark cave, not near a lava sea or a cave with glowstone. To start, you have to find a place that is away from ghasts and mine some netherrack for your shelter. Now that you have a place to put your stuff in, go outside your house and make a farm by replacing some netherrack on the ground with some dirt. After that, put some glowstone or torches to make it bright, then use the hoe on the dirt and plant your carrots and use bone meal on them for instant food. But if you run out of bonemeal, you have to wait long enough for your carrots to grow.Carrots do not need water, but it takes a while to grow them without it, so I recommend acquiring lots and lots of bone meals for farming. For the other, risky and hardcore way, is getting rotten flesh from zombie pigmen. Zombie pigmen are fast and always groups up in hordes. It is rare to see a zombie pigman that is not in a horde. So one tip that I know, when attempting to get rotten flesh from a zombie pigman, make sure you are well prepared for it. For example, check the surroundings, see on how many zombie pigmen are in its horde or check for some holes that will make you fall down to the lava or make you hit the ground too hard. Finally in combat, slash the zombie pigman and since it's fast, no need to go to the zombie pigman and attack it, just let it come to you and time your attacks well.

The second problem are the mobs. The first kind are the zombie pigmen. They are neutral and do not attack unless provoked. So it's best to stay strangers with them. They are also the most common creatures found in the Nether and always roam in groups. The second kind are the ghasts. These crying clouds rule Nether's lava seas and will never stop shooting fireballs at you once it sees you. The only advantage of spawning in a dark cave is that you won't have any problems dealing with these whiny butts. The third one is the Nether's leader, the blaze. The blaze is a flying, hot(literally) and furious creature that shoots out fire charges from its rods. If you defeat a blaze, you can keep some of its rods and use it for brewing. They only spawn in Nether fortresses, its kingdom. The fourth is the unknown magma cube. This creature is the cousin of the slime. You can easily tell that their species is related since it only spawns rarely and splits in half when defeated. However, the magma cube is much stronger and jump higher and much more farther than the slime. The last one is the wither skeleton. This guardian is the key to creating the Wither, the second boss in Minecraft. But don't expect the fight with wither skeletons easy, as they have a high attack damage and that when they hit you, they create the wither effect on you, darkening your health bar and damaging you for 10 seconds. They wield a stone sword and can pick up items. They also drop their skull or the stone sword as a rare drop.

The third problem is the most difficult of all. Strategy. Strategy is always needed for survival in all the dimensions. For example, you have a nearly broken stone pickaxe, 2 sticks, and one coal, and a crafting table and you are trapped inside a dark Nether fortress. For a tip, you can just switch your brightness to the maximum in video settings instead of crafting some torch. So if you crafted the pickaxe, you can just mine your way out instead of going all through the mobs and confusion with the fort. You will even have to ration if you are low on food. And finally, if you have valuables, and you are out of everything, and starving to death, I just recommend you to go back to the Overworld via portal. Well, I hope this helped you for survival in the Nether dimension.

This is also my first blog and I'm pretty sure it sucks. And also, I know an awesome server called Kingdom Eternal. It's cracked and the staff are always wise and just to keep the server clean and lagless. Here's the IP: 198.15.88.67 or visit the website at: kingdometernal.enjin.com

Bye bros! :3
