Hello fellow pixels! Today I'll show you some neat ideas for surviving the apocalypse. Do note some of these ideas may not work for you because of area, resources, ect...

Bridges

Many bridges will be destoryed, full of cars/zombies/bandits and more chaos so stay away from them if you can.

Roads

Be sure to use backroads to avoid danger. For people that live in large cities this isn't really an option. Once you find a road you'd like to stay on or if your trying to keep people out of this area, use the trees to block the road. This may be a lenghty job for someone with no tools or experience, but its worth it.

Fuel

Once you've found a fuel source be sure to collect it if the area is safe. Most gas-stations will be out or highly dangerous so look for closed in areas or hidden fuel spots. If you're on the move, consider broken down cars.

Food

Eat all perishables as quickly as you can, when the power goes out you can't keep the food anymore so why waste? After your main food supply starts to get low or if you just want to stock up on more food trying hunting, picking berries, and other natural growing food.

Storage

Considering you've found a place to stay, use the kitchen as your food, water, and all other eatables, storage area. If the power is still on, wash out the sinks throughly, then feel them up so you have some more water for a bit.

Storage of fuels, chemicals, ect... should be stored away from any eatables. Use garages, rooms, or other protected areas to store. And be sure to know where everything is and you know how much of something you have.

Settling Down

After you have your food, fuels, and people sorted out. You'll need to start keeping everything under control. Most of this is different for each group and area but some things are still the same such as...

Keeping new comers, sick, or other health problems quarantined. Sick people, of course may have a simple flu to the zombie virus. However newcomers may also have some hidden health problems so keep them seperated for 1 - 5 days to be sure.

Be sure to have your people/you to read books when there not working. Articles on living outdoors, hunting, food to eat and not, ect... will be the most helpful, but fictional books can also be helpful to people.

Try and set up a communications center if you have the resources. This is usually much later on and sometimes not needed, but its still good to have a radio and microphone.

Hope this helped you survivers! And I will add some more pictures and information later on. Thanks for reading and if you enjoyed leave a diamond for me :)
