Hiya guys! Just to let you know that I am a tactical planner when it comes to Capture the Flag! I will tell you some tactical plans that I have so you can win in any Team PvP match! This is not only for Minecraft but in some other games (like Team Fortress) that have Capture the Flag. So here are the lists of my plans! If you are the leader in some Team PvP matches then reading this is worth it.
These plans are the basic and probably, the most common.
Plan 1-A: This plan is the most basic plan I can come up with. It's like you go offense full charge. There is some possibilities that this plan will fail. When the enemy strenght is weak this plan will work. When the enemies are strong it will fail. Remember this plan has no defenses!
Plan 1-B: Another basic plan but instead of going offense, you go defense! Well don't do FULL defense! Leave about 5% of your members to go offense.
Now let's do some advance planning:
Plan 2-A: Naturally, I call it "Seperation Plan" . You need 10 players in your team in order for this to work. So what your gonna do is send 3 players to the left (it depends in which location you are playing) and another 3 to the right. Leave the rest of the members defending the flag. These six players have two options. One, the first 3 will battle enemies while the other 3 will take the flag. Two, these 6 players will charge together to the enemy but it has possibilitites that reason #2 will fail because of the enemy strenght.
Plan 2-B: I call it "Distractions". Send any amount of players to the enemy base (but leave at least 2 or 3 players behind) to cause a distraction. When some enemies are chasing your teamates, now's the chance to go to the base and take their flag. But what if the enemy team leave some players to defend their flag? Easy, just surprise attack them.
Plan 2-C: I call it "Trap". When your base have any unnoticed spot then ask every one of your members to go there. In Minecraft, tell them to hold Shift so that their username won't be shown to the enemies. If your base have no hidden spots then just hide near the base or something. Leave the flag undefended but tell 2 players to hide near the flag. When the enemy team saw this they will quickly go for it. And when you see them taking the flag, tell the 2 defenders to attack them.
If all of these plans did not work then this is last plan I came up with: SURRENDER!
