We all know the ender pearls. You throw them, they teleport you. However, this guide will teach you to travel very far distances, even to chunks you've never been before with single throws of the pearls. A few minutes of your time, and you will become an expert telemancer, able to infiltrate enemy bases, travel to friends immediately, and much more. This is mostly for multiplayer use.

To do this, you must have the following materials: Twenty four obsidian, a flint and steel, and a number of ender pearls. First, build a nether portal near where you would like to teleport to. Next, walk into the portal. Right before you teleport, throw an ender pearl. MAKE SURE THERE IS NOBODY NEARBY!!! Then, in the nether, build another portal and use that.This will teleport you to a new area. The portal will remain in midair until somebody walks into the area. Let me explain chunks.

Chunks are 16x16x128 pieces that make up the world, always ending on the bottom with bedrock. As you walk, chunks will generate, while chunks that you are away from will unload, essentially freezing them in time. Mobs will not spawn or move, dropped items will not disappear, and thrown items (including ender pearls) will remain in midair until somebody gets near enough to the chunk to allow it to generate.

Now that we know about chunks, I can explain teleportation. Because the pearls teleport you to the co-ordinates in which they land, you should not be in the nether when they do. This will cause you to be teleported to these co-ordinates IN THE NETHER. This means that if you throw an ender pearl into an enemy base and teleport, and it lands at x=754 and z=1252 in the overworld, this means that if it lands while in the nether you will be teleported to x=754 and z=1252 in the nether. What if below these is a lava ocean?

If you threw a pearl into an enemy fort, left into the nether and through a portal in there, and waited with a diamond sword, when they enter the fort, then you will be teleported in, and able to slaughter them before they even know what happened. Keep in mind that multiple pearls can be thrown in places. However, make sure they are well apart, or you will teleport everywhere in very small intervals and take lots of damage. Disconnecting a server will remove ALL of the pearls in midair, effectively allowing you to cancel one at the cost of the others thrown and not used.

Now, you know how to use ender pearls to teleport very long distances, enter enemy bases instantly, and die in lava oceans. I hope I have helped you in your quest to glory. Good luck!
