Hello. This is my first tutorial on Texturing. I do not do a lot of texturing because I personally am not good at it. That doesn't mean I do not know how. This tutorial will be on how you can rename blocks in a texture pack you want.
1. Open up the Lang folder.
2. Open up en_US.lang
3. Press Control F
4. Type in oreGold
5. Change the name so it looks like this: tile.oreGold.name=Budder Ore
The "name="part us the only part that can be changed.If you change the "tile.oreGold" part it will not work. You can do this for any other block as well by searching up keywords like "bow" or "diamond". Remember to save after words. ;)
