Cave-Core

The Cave-Core Challenge is a 1.17 Datapack'ed Hardcore Vanilla Challenge (DHVC 1.17) .

In order to play it, you don't need to install any mods or texturepacks, just vanilla datapacks and ingame world creation settings.

These will allow you to play the standart hardcore experience, but with the following modifications:

-no daylight
-always in a cave (using the standart cave generator)
-instantly being confronted with mobs, without the usual ~10 minutes grace period
-only starting with very little wood, a sugarcane and a torch
-fighting yourself through modified caves and hordes and mobs

but still, nether and end remain unmodified, and your goal to beat the ender dragon.



How to play:

1. Download these packs:

Cave Biomes

2. Create a new world with these settings:

-World Name: 'Cave-Core' (optional)
-Hardcore

INSTALL ALL DATAPACKS LISTED ABOVE!

Advanced Settings:
-World Type: Cave : Biome=Dripstone Cave
-Generate Structures ON

3. Open the world to LAN in the options, activate cheats, press F3 + F4 to switch to creative and get the following items:

-1 Sapling of your liking
-1 Boneblock
-1 Sugarcane
-1 Torch

Then, switch BACK to survival!

4. Close the world, and open it again.

5. DONE!

This world is now done and ready to play!
Make a Backup if you want, and start your challenge!


You will soon find out what this challenge is all about,
and you can stop after pursuing the Ender Dragon and killing her, after you got an elytra, or after you, somehow, die!
