You saw me crying in the chapel,
The tears I shed are tears of joy,
I praise the Lord for my contentment,
And now am one with the Lord.

You saw me dying in the chapel,
Blood shed as a sacrifice,
I praise the Lord for life and,
When death comes, I'll die.

You saw me lying in my grave,
I saw you crying on the stone,
I praise the Lord for life and,
I hope you will someday too.

It's just a plain and simple Chapel,
Where humble people go and pray.
I pray the Lord that I'll grow stronger,
As I live my life, everyday.
