Hi I'm gonna try a story for the first time. ^-^ Hope you like! (Please tell me if you enjoyed it)
The Creature
Miki looked out the window at the bad storm with flashes of deadly lightning and lots of heavy wind and rain. Miki sighed as she walked over to her laptop and opened Notepad. She typed:
Wind and rain, when will you go?
My father is out there, he continues to row.
Through the storms and thunder loud as it begin,
The chicks huddle 'round their own mother hen.
A few hours later, Miki then noticed the light bulb began to fail and then it burned out. Miki then went up stairs thinking, "Hm...I think there's some light bulbs in the attic.". Miki then walked upstairs then opened the door to the attic when she heard a "screech" sound coming from below. Miki ignored it and walked upstairs into the attic. Inside she searched more than a little, but yet found absolutely no light bulbs. Suddenly, the screech from below became louder. Miki said, "It's hopeless. There's no light bulbs.", as she walked down stairs. When she went back to her computer room, she saw something large and black, about the size of a dog, crawling around. It seemed to have red eyes and 2 tails. Miki screamed once it noticed her and stared at her. The creature somewhat didn't mind her, however. But once she screamed, the creature got frightened. Miki stopped screaming, and walked cautiously to the light switch, then flicked it. "Darn! I forgot the light bulbs aren't working!", said Miki. Miki walked slowly to the door, then quickly shut it in front of her once she was out of the room. She rushed to the kitchen and grabbed the working light bulb of the kitchen. She walked back to her room and opened the door. "Strange, I could've sworn there was some kind of creature here.", said Miki once she put the light bulb in, and turned on the light. The window was shut, the door closed, and Miki was sure it couldn't have reached the knob. Miki saw something crawl out of under her desk. Miki screamed. It was revealed, and Miki was shocked! It was her pet dog, who had her cap with red night vision goggles stuck on it, and her fishing pole in its mouth, making it look like it had two tails and red eyes. Miki laughed at herself. "I can't believe I was so scared!", she said laughing.
