The day I almost had a heart attack..............
One day I was playing on my single player world. It is an expansive map filled with stuff I've built over the months. I was busy building another house but I ran out of materials. This was the thing that sparked the idea for me to go mining.I was planing on my home being a giant scary mansion with a courtyard and everything. The reason I needed to go mining was the get iron for iron bars... I had no idea of what excitement and fright was to come!!!
Wouldn't that just make it ScArY?!?!!
As I climbed and mined the cave system near my home, I started to think 'Man I need some more diamonds'. So I dug down to Y level 5 and started strip mining. I found iron, coal and redstone. No diamond was to be seen though. I just kept mining and mining until I came across a small cave. There was a decent sized lava pool in that cave, and hanging above it were 4 diamonds. I placed a cobble pathway out to the diamonds and stopped right under them. I mined the first diamond hoping it would fall on the block I had placed. The diamond fell at an angle and landed on the cobblestone with about 1 pixel to go from falling off the edge into the lava. I seriously almost had a heart attack. The little edge of the cobble had saved one of my prized diamonds!!!!
