Chapter 1: Your new life.

"Look"! bellowed Pete. Pete was a slightly wimpy boy with scruffy brown hair. He'd spend most of his time staring out into the ocean trying to find the Mystical city of Extratia. "What did you see my boy"? Spoke Pete's father. Pete looked nothing like his father, who had combed, blonde hair reaching down to his shoulders. From a distance he looked like a woman.

Across the distant, faded ocean camouflaged in the mist was an Island. A mountain towered above the Island and the small, wooden boat Pete and his father were rowing. "Is it Extratia? Is it"? Pete's pupils widened in enthusiasm as they neared the mysterious land. By the time they reached the Island it was almost midnight. "I'm not sure about this place Dad. It made our boat break when we hit a lily pad..." A sudden jolt of pain it Pete's wrist. It was coming from his father. "Dad, what's up"? He asked slowly becoming more and more anxious. Pete's father was gripping Pete's hand too tight. He peered down to see his hand was becoming purple.

Looking upwards to where his father was looking, Pete froze in the spot. He didn't want to look away. He was afraid to look away. As he slowly began wondering if the creature had seen them he almost looked away. The creature was tall, thin and black. It had long arms and Bright purple eyes. He knew because it was also staring at him. It seemed like a Millennium that they had been staring at the Horrid monster. "Ssssss". Pete panicked and twisted around. It was too late. He had looked away. He knew he would either die from the monster or the new terror that was sitting behind them. It looked sad. Pete had the strange urge despite all that had happened to hug the creature.
"Look out"! Pete's father shoved Pete into a cave. He noticed a sliver of iron ore trapped inside the rock before crashing onto the hard stone. He peered out of the cave but couldn't see clearly. A tall, black blur whacked a blonde figure as the other creature blew up, scattering the blonde figure across the sand. Pete became unconcious.
