Let me tell you something: 1v1 PVP is a bore. At least, it is to me.

There is one simple premise to 1v1, and that is run. Run until you have enough crap to defend yourself with, and then defend yourself. I don't know. I have only taken part in a few 1v1 games. I have only won once, and that was a Hunger Games in which the other guy accidentally fell off of a cliff. I had somehow gotten through it without having to fight anyone. But in the others (Even the ones I have done well in), I find myself wanting to have the feeling that I am contributing to something.

And so, I searched for something new. I found two PVP servers where players are assigned to a team. It was wonderful! The first is a server pretty well known here: Conwy Castle! www.planetminecraft.com/server/the-battle-for-conwy-castle/

Rockslide did wonderfully with this server, and I always feel entertained there. Whether I'm sniping with my bow from two hundred blocks away or I'm clumsily switching to my sword and trying to keep my heart going as an executioner comes up behind me, Conwy is a fun time!

Another promising server I have found is Red vs. Green by mokazon. www.planetminecraft.com/server/red-vs-green-1764994/

It is less organic than Conwy (As in, it feels more like a city or a town rather than a large castle, a lone isle, or the dark Mines of Moria), but it is still a blast! It has the same idea as Conwy and uses a similar system for capturing areas on the map.

If you have not played on either of these servers, I recommend it! You may donate money to the creators, and be rewarded with a premium class to spice up your playing experience. Believe me, it is great!

Also, if you know a good Team PVP server, please suggest it in the comments, and I will kindly take a look at it!
