Situation 1:
1 block high fence vs. horse = horse jumping over
Fix:
Make it 3+ blocks tall and that should fix your problem unless the horse flys.......

Situation 2:
You get off horse then tell it to stay = horse is going on a far away vacation
Fix:
Lead it to a fence or watch it 24/7

Situation 3:
Horse vs. Lava = RIP
Fix:
Don't bring a horse in a cave or mineshaft......

Situation 4:
Horse vs. Griefer = Goodbye horse
Fix:
Hide your horses farrrr away
**************************
Situation 5:
Your horse keeps dying
Fix:
Make the roof higher than 3 blocks and for extra caution put a fence next to every block
**************************
Situation 6:
Horse vs. Water = Possible Drowning
Fix:
If you go in 3 block deep water you automatically dismount your horse, either try to jump over this water or make a bridge. I recommend only doing this for a river because some horses don't come back up to the surface easily so your horse may die.

Situation 7:
Horse vs. Lead = Sometimes escape
Fix:
On a server I play on, leads always break after some time, so i recommend having a permanent pen and not to just lead them to fences.

Situation 8:
Horse vs. Landing after flight = Death
Fix:
Instead of dropping the horse on the ground after being in the air (talking about a normal horse, not mod ones) land them in water so they do not die of fall damage.

Situation 9:
Horse vs. Creeper = A lot of damage
Fix:
Keep far from creepers or get it to the point where it will blow up then run so it is dead, and your horse is not hurt.
