I know that millions of people out there love halo and many of them probably also love minecraft so I have decided to bring them both together

Basically what im doing is recreating the halo series only the core games for now which is halo 1, 2, 3, and 4 when its released maybe someday ill do reach or odst

I will be including everything including cut scenes custom texture might be made but probably not. I will put in all music and audio in the game such as the Chief or Cortana talking all credits will be properly given to the creators

Expected Release of Halo 1 = SUMMER 2013

Expected Release of Halo 2 = SUMMER 2014

Expected Release of Halo 3 = SUMMER 2015

Expected Release of Halo 4 = SUMMER 2016

I may ask for help someday but for now this is solo

Pictures will be put up when I have enough done for them

I will probably be making mods to go with the games to or use already created ones because im not much of a coder

This will include heavy amounts of content from the adventure craft mod mainly because of the triggers and all that cool stuff for cut scenes and mob spawning and npcs yes I know too many "and"

I havent worked on this in months but Im playing through halo again to give the motivation I need and I have updated the release dates, halo 4 now has a release date

Hey there guys updated estimated release dates added im delaying it by at least a few months because I havent had much time to work on it lately and its becoming alot more difficult but yeh hang in there demo by Christmas hopefully

Ok so I just realized that my project post for the Halo Project somehow turned into a blog post ???? but I dont really care a blog is probably more approiate anyway as I will create individual project posts for each game

Just a quick update halls outside the cryo bay are done and in case anyone was wondering the way im going to make each level is in stages.

Stage 1- general map building (I will build the entire level)

Stage 2- detailing and adding basic features (sprucing up the map and adding basic triggers)

Stage 3- advanced features and npc's (adding advanced triggers, cutscenes, and events)

Stage 4- testing (playing through the level multiple times to get everything just right)

im starting to second guess the cut scenes some will be easier than others but the cut scenes might be more work than the actual levels might just use the original cut scenes

Im thinking about releasing the first level for testing when its complete let me know if you think I should do it
