In my post minecraft days, I thought I'd write a little piece on this game. I remember when I first bought this game on discount, since it was still in alpha. My dad looked at my computer screen and laughed, thinking what the hell am I doing, playing a game this derpy. Four years later, as I retire from this game, my perspective on it has changed greatly. When I see thousands of people on Hypixel's server, I see people of all ages meeting others from all over the world, an event that would in no other case occur. When I see a group of kids do team builds, become staff on each other's server, they aren't wasting their time, but rather they are adding new bonds to their friendship, learning responsibility, helping others solved those damn bukkit issues. I played on several servers where they not only became a place to have fun, but also a place where everyone can say their story, find someone else who will listen to and encourage them. This game has brought millions of fans together, to collaborate to do great things. I have met people from quite literally all over the world, and learned a lot from them. The joys we experience while playing this game go past the blocky world we make them in. Today, this game has reached a new height, with endless Youtubers, one click streaming, forums, planet minecraft, Minecraft players all over the world have come together to do great things. Just a few months ago, the Child's Play charity raised over $100,000 for kids. As my window for playing this game ends, I would like to encourage the entire minecraft community to continue to grow and accomplish things no one would expect from a game.

Isn't that amazing! Minecraft has truly developed over the years.
Thanks for the extra fact! :P
I don't say that often, I don't even know if I have done so before.
