The wind swept through the grass. The dawn filled up the darkness. The townspeople of the village had awoken. Lawrence, the town warrior had awoken far earlier than the rest. He had to train to keep his job. A village was located in the remote forest. It was small but exotic people from all around lived here. There where miners, farmers, bakers and poets. A local poet John Artimer was the best poet in all of Minelandia. He wrote the poems about the world, nature and his townspeople. He was famous for his work. Lawrence and John were friends from the start. Although they were polar opposites they were the best of friends. Believe it or not Lawrence and John were brothers. Their village was raided and they have no where to go. They escapes and found this village here. Every day at dawn all the villagers gather at the campfire to give thanks to all they had. They believed that what they were given was a blessing and should not be taken for granted. They hummed tunes for all of them to pass down. The children of the village spent their time farming and playing together. They would pick flowers and rustle in the grass. Lawrence had been using his new sword that Quinton made him. Quinton was the village blacksmith. The sword was thick, heavy and smooth. It was the perfect sword, the one Lawrence had been searching for. John was writing his next poem "The Natures Beauty." The early morning sun beamed down on the village. The cold wind swept through the trees and leaves fell to the ground. The world seemed faint as the fog filled up the sky. Some of the townspeople began to awaken from their deep slumber. Yawns filled the air. Everyone knew it was time for another day of hard work. In the early morning you could hear the axes swing through the air at mighty force to split the wood logs. The smell of fresh bread from the bakery filled the air. Many of the townspeople ran to the bakery to buy some bread and pastries. John was hard at work on his new poem.

The wind howls on a stormy day
the wet dewy leaves begin to decay
they twirl to floor as though a dancer
they bounce about like prancer
the sun comes up
about a new day
the dew fills up the leaves
we all say hooray!
