Stave 2: To Slay a Wyvern

Well, going outside when I don't really know what is going on, that's a mistake of mine. If you lived here, you could guess what happened. I learned that before going outside, check if its day or night. Wyverns usually come close to the ground at night. They hunt land animals at night, yet they have no breath. As I stormed out of the library, I didn't bother to look at the sky. My ears twitched, I looked around. I heard some wing beats. Sounded like cutting air though, I looked around. Over the hill, there was Ralph. Who's Ralph you ask, he's basically nothing short of one of the most strongest, bravest man in our town. He was swinging his iron sword at a wyvern. The wyvern's tail was spiked with reddish-orange scales. Its wings were ginormous when it was making a hurricane. "Die dreaded monster from hell" Ralph screamed. The creature looked as if it screeched, yet we heard nothing. I tossed my wooden sword at it. Well, the sword bounced off and the thing was pissed off. Luckily, while it turned around, Ralph cut of a wing and its tail. The creature fell and kicked up some dust. Then at last his sword when through the wyvern's neck and the struggle was over, we had won.
