I've started my mushroom village world! But before I can actually properly play, I gotta remove some mods/resource packs aaaa!!!

My laptop ain't what it used to be, and Mystic's Biomes is incompatible with all the cool mushroom biome seeds, so although I fell in love with the lush oasis and the strawberry trees, I had to say farewell and stick with the classic vanilla biomes. Oh well, anything to stop the lag. I'll optimise my mods soon enough~

So the world, here it is:




The island is huge, with very few oak trees. Here's the first one I found. This skin isn't permanent, just a placeholder until I come up with an original design. You'll also notice some blue mushrooms. I'm pretty sure they come with The Mushrooms mod by leo1011101. If not, then that's just another neat touch from Mizuno's 16Craft texture pack. That pack makes the trees come in different seasonal variations. On the topic of Mizuno's 16Craft, I did remove its mycelium bits to look more vanilla and match the Simple Grass Flowers resource pack by JamieProbably. Although I love the natural grassy look from Mizuno's mycelium, so I may just put that back and remove the little vanilla mycelium details from the other resource pack. Oh, I wanna use WorldEdit at some point and do some painting with biomes! Now that would make this magical mushroom island truly come to life!

Anyway, the lag is so bad I couldn't load many chunks on my world map, so as previously mentioned, I'll be going through my current mods/resource packs and removing those I deem least important for this playthrough until there's no serious lag. Usually the lag reduces significantly when all the chunks have successfully been loaded, so I'll be loading those in on creative mode too. When everything's reasonably smooth, it's on to survival mode and a proper playthrough~

I'll leave my player character concept designs here while I check off my to do list. I'm an artist, so it can't be that hard to make a Minecraft skin, right??
