Firstly, happy birthday PMC!
PMC is a really great site for sharing minecraft stuff, I use it to share my builds as well as to benchmark my buildero s skills so ito s not biased!
The main point of me posting this is to get as much at- tention from the PMC team to further improve PMC. This post is a little technical but I will try to use words that are easily understood.
Web Redesign
I really want a PMC that is well-designed with no clutter. All I want is modern web designed, I dono t really like the minecraft themed design as it can get distracting at times. I know for sure that some of you might go rage on this idea but I might ask, why so minecraft? With a sim- pler web design you can get focus more to the content rather than the site itself.
Leto s look at mojang.com for instance. Ito s website has
no relevance to ito s game whatsoever. I know you cano t picture it in your minds but just give it a try, I might as well give my on take on redesigning PMC!
Technical Improvements
Something rather more straight forward I would love these improvements that might seem minor at first.
Firstly is better search. It can be quite a pain having to re- input when switching from popular to most viewed and vice versa as well as switching from projects to skins it doesno t keep the input.
Next is multiple uploads at once. This is probably a time saving improvement that is seriously needed for builders. Escpecially for bigger projects. I think ito s pretty clear the advantages here.
Last is uncompressed uploads. This is a pretty crucial thing images tend to lose their quality after uploaded. This can make users less attracted, and this is really needed for the redesign escpecially if bigger pictures are used like what most modern designs tend to be.
