It was finally daytime and Steve prepared everything he needed. Sword, pickaxe, a couple of torches, and a workbench. After picking up his equipment, he set out to find where that light came from. He started walking towards the direction of where he saw the light the previous night in a fast pace. After about what seemed like forty blocks of running, he had to stop because of the overwhelming feeling of hunger and fatigue. Fortunately, he was finally at his destination.

Steve slowly walked over to what seemed like a village. He was slowly getting weaker and weaker and each step was more and more painful. As he was walking towards the village, he saw that they had a farm. Suddenly he had a quick memory causing him to fall to ground in exhaust. The memory gave him a picture of bread that made him long for food, he then had another flash of memory that seemed like someone making bread. The person took three wheat and put it in a row and instantly made bread. Steve thought his mind was going crazy considering he thought he was having pointless visions. Besides, doesn't bread have to be baked?

The strange memory went away and Steve was still on the ground. Slowly, he stood up, but felt like he was carrying a 300 pound weight as he was doing it. He then looked at the village and started slowly walking, once again. But as he was walking, he saw something that he thought he his mind was making up. He saw a farm, made of wheat. Steve stopped walking and stood there, shocked. Had that memory been trying to tell him something? Where did he even get that memory?. After about 30 seconds of that, he quickly discarded it and then focused on the farm ahead of him. As soon as he got to the farm, he broke what seemed like 12 crops. Each dropping a considerable amount of wheat and seeds. After picking up the wheat, he quickly pulled out his workbench, set it down, and then started crafting bread. He crafted it just like he saw in his vision, and surprisingly enough, it worked. He created bread effortlessly. He felt strange though, felt like this wasn't the real way to make bread. Then again, what is the real way of anything?

After eating down the bread as fast as he could, he finally started to feel better. He felt replenished. Then as he was putting his workbench back in his pockets, he saw a sudden movement out of the corner of his eye. He then turned out around while pulling out his sword, thinking it was monster. It was another human. Steve stood there staring at him in awe, the other person was staring back, but emotionless, not saying a word. A wide smile came across Steve's face, and he dropped his sword and ran over to person. "Hello! I didn't think there was anyone else here". The person still stared at him, no emotion on his face whatsoever. "Umm, hello?". No answer. "So, can you understand me?." Still no answer. Steve started to get agitated. He walked around the man hoping to intimidate some how but wherever Steve went, the man's eyes followed.

15 minutes went by of Steve trying to get the man to talk, but didn't get a word out of him. Finally he gave up when it started to turn night. The man then noticed the darkness, and went inside his house. Steve followed. Steve then noticed that there were other people in the village as well. They all gave him the same blank face as the man. Even though Steve was surrounded by people, he never felt more alone.

It was finally day and Steve woke up from sleeping on a wooden couch and saw the man staring at him. "Good morning?" he said slowly. Then he watched the man walk out the door. He quickly stood up and followed him. On his way out, he saw other people with the same emotionless faces, staring at his every move, but Steve still followed the man. After about 20 blocks of walking, the man stopped at the edge of a giant hole and then looked at Steve. Steve looked down the hole, seeing an underground house, or maybe even a stronghold, made of stone brick. It had a library, and then another door leading to the other parts of the stronghold. He looked back at the man. "Why're we here?". The man still looked at him and then pulled out a sword, that looked like it was made of iron and threw it over to Steve. Steve caught it and then figured the man wanted him to go down there and get something, or maybe even kill something. Then man threw over leather armor to him. Steve out it on, and then asked again, "Why're we here?". No answer but the man seemed to looked down at the stronghold and then back at him. Figuring the man wanted him to go down and do something, Steve hesitated. Wondering what's so bad that he needed a sword and armor. He stood there, nervous of what could be down there, then he had a feeling of curiosity. Besides, he could probably find something of use down there.

Steve took one last look at the man, and jumped down the to the bottom of the library, took a breath, and opened the other door.
