Steve was badly wounded and near death. The dead spider's spilled venom lie on the ground. The same venom that severely poisoned him. He shuffled away from it, afraid that he might get poisoned again just by touching it. The poison made him weak to the point of where even a 5 feet drop would end his life. He remembered seeing a chest as he was walking into the room with the spider. Maybe there could be something in there that could help him.

By time he got to the chest, his heart was beating at a faster than his walking. He opened up the chest and inside found melon seeds, iron, and six pieces of bread. He immediately took the bread and started eating without a second thought. Crumbs were getting everywhere but what did he care? He was dying anyways.

After sitting there for about 30 minutes he finally started to get up. The bread worked surprisingly well. He wasn't sure to keep going and find try to find other valuables, or sprint out of there at full speed. Stupidly, he went deeper in the mineshaft.

He eventually went on to find things such as a bucket, more seeds, and even more diamonds. He didn't anything else but what he found so far seemed to satisfy him. Steve decided to call it a day and just leave, reaping items of high quality, until something caught his eye. It gave a low red glow and had chunks of molten rock in it.
"Lava" Steve whispered to himself.

Steve thought back to the book and what it said to obtain obsidian. "...formed by lava and water being mixed together". He pulled out his bucket and ran to a water spring he saw earlier. It took about 10 minutes of searching till he found the water spring and filled up his bucket. He then ran right back to the lava and poured about a gallon of water on it. Each liter seemed to make a block of obsidian. Steve didn't stop until there was about 20 blocks. He was too lazy to count everyone but it seemed right.

Steve conceived a loose diamond pickaxe, but it did its job. Each block took about 5 minutes of mining. He got about 17 blocks after he was sure he had enough. Glad that he finished part of his quest to the Nether, he left the mineshaft with no regrets.

When Steve got back to the entrance of the mine he saw no one was outside and saw that they went to bed so he quietly put back his mining equipment and snuck back to the Man's house. On his way there he found a piece of flint on the ground and fumbled around with a piece of iron and the flint until he constructed a flimsy lighter. After finishing his lighter he was about 10 feet from the house until he accidentally set a small farm on fire. He ran back to the house worried he'll be caught.

It was the morning and the bright light fell into Steve's eyes causing him to be annoyed and wake up. It was also the morning where Steve decided to go into the Nether. He can't just wait around forever. Besides, this is something he can't avoid.

He walked to the woods to set up the Nether portal. He quickly ran past the farm hoping not to get blamed.

By time he got to the forest, he already had out the obsidian and lighter. He also had the book with him to help him set up the portal. He carefully set up a portal that looked identical to the one in the photo. As soon as he set it up, he made a small flame with the lighter and slid the flame across the bottom two blocks causing a giant flame to spread across the inside of the portal, transforming the itself to a dark purple portal.

Small, purple snowflakes fell gently from the portal. A vague collection of screaming came from the portal, and each step Steve made towards it, it got louder and louder until it was unbearable. Steve quickly jumped back from the portal, resting his ears. Then after about of minute of deciding whether this is the right decision or not, he jumped in.

For a few seconds the screams became quieter and quieter until the screams turned to cackling and then...

Nothing.

So I'm getting the feeling that you don't really want to make another one, which sucks, because this story was great and had even greater promise.

So I've gotta know, why oh why do you not want to continue this epicness??
