"Okay, now I'm a little creeped out." Confessed Officer Jamison, "However, I do have some questions."
"Alright, what are they?" Encouraged Mr. Jekyll.

"So, shouldn't this Myster Mentiri be classified as an Inanimate? I mean, his head is an inanimate object and everything. Also, this author spelled 'Mister' incorrectly."

"Firstly: No, Myster Mentiri is actually an entity, a creature of pure consciousness. He gives himself that form in people's minds and, when he inhabits Distorted Reality a 'substance' that usually drifts aimlessly through Limbo searching for a form. 'D.R.' is also what was pouring out of the A.S.T.R.R.L.A.P. Generator and, what that poor soul in 'The Inanimates' wandered in before almost escaping the Static. As for Myster Mentiri's name, we can only assume that that is the correct spelling of his name, regardless of how it's pronounced. Especially, seeing as Myster Mentiri himself wrote the story."

"I see." Said Officer Jamison, thoughtfully. "Alright, so how come some of our current victims showed signs of emotional decline when this story has 'M.M.' bringing someone to a lighter mood?"

Mr. Jekyll chuckled, "That's simple, he does both. For those who are down, he practically convinces them to hand over control; and, for those who are up, he drags them down into submission."

Officer Jamison straightens up in his chair, "Okay, final question: This story mentions Abdera, the very scientific institute that you claim to work for. Would you please explain that?"

Mr. Jekyll took on an air of responsibility and said, "Yes, well, that was the main point of the visit. As a representative of the Abdera Corporation, I have come to surrender this universe's two facilities to the local authorities."

"Two facilities?"

"Yes, our current, functional laboratory. And, the deserted campus mentioned in the story."

"Wait! You're actually serious about all this?"

"Of course, why would I waste your time in this manner?"
"Well, uh... ...I guess that makes sense. But, you still don't have any real, substantial evidence."

"What more do you want as proof that I am telling you the truth?"

"How about a visit to that old lab of yours."

Mr. Jekyll was then suddenly struck with fear, "No! Absolutely not! That is out of the question!"

"Why?" Inquired Officer Jamison.

"Because that place is crawling with Regnum Messoris, there is absolutely no way we would be to survive a visit." Explained Mr. Jekyll.

"Well, with your seemingly endless knowledge on these alleged monsters, you should be able to keep us out of sight and help me collect enough evidence to prove that they exist."

"Fine, as long as it gets you to believe me." Mr. Jekyll sighed, "But you're going have to follow every instruction I give you without question."

"That sounds good to me. Let's go."

After a few hours of hiking through the woods the two men came across an old sign partially buried in the ground. "I can't believe it! Abdera really does exist, unless this is still an elaborate-"

"Shhhhh! Do you want them to hear us?" Mr. Jekyll whispered.

"No, but I still haven't seen anything to prove tha-"
Just then, they ducked behind the sign as they heard the scuttling of multiple large, energized, four-legged creatures. When they heard the sound stop nearby, they carefully peaked over the sign to see three brown lizard-like monsters with clock heads and pendulum tails. The clock heads talked to each other in a mysterious language before scuttling off. "I can't believe it! They were those Clockworkers from that story." Said Officer Jamison, astounded.

"Yes, can we leave now, Officer? Please?" Mr. Jekyll said anxiously.

"Yes, I've seen plent-"

"THERE YOU ARE!" A person whom one can only assume to be Myster Mentiri appeared behind the two men. As soon as they saw him, they vaulted the sign and ran into the lab, hoping to evade the monsters and escape. As they approached a T-junction, the Gaze opened its eye in one of the halls. "Avert your eyes, QUICKLY!" Yelled Mr. Jekyll.

They both looked away in time and ran down the other hallway. As they ran, they were met by Regnum Messoris at almost every corner. Eventually, they ducked into a room, hoping to fake out the monsters. "Are we safe?" Asked Officer Jamison.

"No, not in the slightest." Replied Mr. Jekyll, solemnly.

"My goodness! Is that...?"

"The Abdera Science Twin Ring Realitiac Layers Access Point Generator, also known as A.S.T.R.R.L.A.P. Generator. It's still open to Limbo."

"I somehow get the impression that the Static was the leader of these creatures. So, if he were anywhere, wouldn't it be here?"
"He is." As Mr. Jekyll said this his voice changed to something more ominous, a multitudinous whisper; and, in a moment of T.V.-like fuzz Mr. Jekyll was replaced by none other than the Static. The other abominable creatures came or appeared in the room and rallied behind their master who was standing in front of the portal.
"Wha... ...what? You're... ...you're him, you're the Static!" Stammered Officer Jamison.

"Oh, how perceptive! Are you sure you're not 'Detective Jamison'?" Laughed the Static.

"Why did you show me those stories and bring me here?"

"Because, if there is fear in the authorities, then there is hopelessness in the followers."

"So, I'm allowed to go?"

"But of course! Go and spread our message of fear."

Officer Jamison then pulls his gun on the Static, "No! I will do nothing of sort. Instead, I will end your reign of terror before it truly starts."

"Hahahahahahahahaha! Do you think that that puny weapon will have any lasting effects on us?"

"No, but with some knowledge of cars and an appreciation for science fiction, I'm going to do this." Officer Jamison then, fired the gun at one of the tires spinning the rings. This caused a ring to not only fall out of alignment, but lose momentum, destabilizing the portal.

"FOOL! Do you know what you've done?" Shouted Myster Mentiri.

"I've destabilized the portal. And in a few moments, it hopefully should turn into a gravitational anomaly, pulling everything in the area inside of it before sealing itself forever." Officer Jamison explained proudly.

"But, that includes you as well." the Gaze pointed out.

"True, but look at who is standing closer to the portal before pursuing that observation." said Officer Jamison, smugly.

Suddenly, the portal started pulling everything into it. As the laboratory crumbled around them, the Regnum Messoris were crying out while trying to escape the gravitational force. Soon, the old Abdera facility and the some of the surrounding forest were sucked into Limbo before the rings had finally succumbed to the portal creating a massive implosion that destroyed the portal. Sealing those abominations and Officer Jamison in Limbo forever...?
