I know, you've heard the same thing a million times before, if you're sick of it, leave now. I merely wish to voice my opinion.
PMC Users,
I'm sure you've noticed the festering welt growing on our skin section.
More and more people are uploading mob skins, scribbles, mobs in suits, girl/teen skins, and it needs to stop.
These skins are simply taking up data space and page space and are making our (mostly) respectable community look lazy, talentless, and incompetent.
Just open a tab and go to the skin section right now, tell me honestly that you can't find a skin that is simply a copy, a recolouring, a scribble or a blob or colours hastily thrown onto a model. I mean, do people not have the patience to sit down for longer then 2 minutes and actually put some love and effort into something that represents our community? Surely, our society hasn't degraded that drastically in the short space of time it has existed.. has it?
The amount of skins that are simply a copied skin tweaked to look like new, a copy straight from the game files, or a blank canvas haphazardly strewn with pixels in a vain, misguided attempt to earn experience, which ultimately does nothing at all, is disappointing.
I expected people with more grace, more dignity, more of an attention span than some of the imbecilic drivel that inhabits the darkest corners of our domain, just waiting to tarnish our amazing libraries of data with their content, if it can be referred to as such.

What do you plan? a filter or someone who sits there and looks at every upload to decide if its good enough? come on we have to live with these guys even if a lot of people here won't
