His name was Steve. He was just an ordinary guy. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. Worked in telesales during the day. Such a mundane job, he thought. Steve wished for greater things in life.

During the evenings he sat in darkness, staring at his computer screen. Sometimes he played games. Of late, he had been designing his own game. That night, he smiled smugly to himself. He was rather pleased with how it was progressing. It was only in the early stages, but he was sure it was going to turn out to be pretty good.

As he typed away, the screen glowing on his pale face, a pop up appeared. Strange.

"Do you want to commence? Yes or No"

Steve clicked no.

"Do you want to commence? Yes or No?"

Steve sighed and clicked no again.

"Please Commence. Yes or No"

Steve was irritated now. Stupid computer must have a virus. He made a mental note to do a full virus check later. In the meantime, he clicked the YES option. If only to get the pop up off the screen. The computer sounded like it was whirring and the screen went blue. What now? He thought.

As he pondered switching it off, he thought he saw smoke...from the screen? Or was that mist?! No...couldn't be. That was his final thought as he sat in his bedroom, in his computer chair before being pulled into the screen.

When Steve opened his eyes, he was staring up at a blue sky. He sat up. Instantly knowing that he felt strange. Steve looked down at his hands. Shock and horror ran through him. His hands were like CUBES. He stared for a moments before realizing that his whole body was now cubed shaped. He slowly gazed around his surroundings, the realisation setting in. He was IN his game. In the ACTUAL game! But how?

At that moment, though Steve was a mundane kind of guy. He decided that if there was a way in...there was a way out. He would find it. He would fight to free himself from this prison. The game wasn't finished...he hadn't even added all the people. It would be easy he thought to himself.

Days, weeks, months even passed. Steve explored his new surroundings, deciding that the way out must be a building. He would build...build his way home. And so he did...he built, and built. Never stopping.

From afar, he was being watched. It hissed as it glowed a strange green colour.

On his computer screen, a message flashed

"WARNING! CREEPER VIRUS DETECTED! WARNING! CREEPER VIRUS DETECTED!"
